Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk 2013

This is my first ever photowalk with the Dipolog Dapitan Camera Club
A friend of mine from the club invited me to join with them.
So I did!
Here are the photos taken during the day!
The Cathedral in Orchid City. Fiesta is near and I can totally feel the aura already.

Our photowalk was supposed to start at 1 pm but then it started to pour buckets.
I was hesitant to go because I know the rain would go crazy in a spur of a moment.
You know how nature plays, right? But! I fought the urge to stay home and do nothing.
I got myself ready. Just wore a pair of shorts, black t-shirt and a pair of  my cutie shoes.
I went outside carrying my camera bag with my best friend inside waiting for me to let him out
then head to the Capitol where the club was at.
The weather was somehow gloomy and cold. I was stupid enough for not bringing a jacket.
Despite of the weather and mother nature being all drama queen.

However, we still manage to make our photo walk fun and challenging at the same time.

I found this one of a kind tree at where we had our first setting. Then the first thing that came into my mind was Harry Potter and Hogwarts and I don't even know why.
Weird but I love how the clouds appeared and how the image came out to be.

It was a piece of a cake edit.

As I was wandering around the place. I was caught by these lovely logs.
I quickly diverted my attention to it and grab my camera and poof!

Then we decided to change settings. We walked together and took random shots at the same time.We went to the city's market, to the park and we end up at the new building in the Boulevard. The rain has bats in the belfry at the moment whereas we have arrived there.
I have made new friends along the way. I like it how superb it is and it's great to know that I have young fellow hobbyists and the idea to be able to share ideas and thoughts about my love for this form of art with them.

We invaded the market. This is how busy it was when we got there.
It was very crowded! We would snake our way to get through.
The three royals.

PS: I have put all photos in one album on my Facebook. You can find my set here. I've set it to public and you're prolly aware that I did not put any watermarks on my photos for some reasons like 1. I think watermarks would ruin the photo 2. I'm not even a photographer so I have quite an excuse to that and 3. I'd like to remain it that way or am I just too dense about somebody would grab them without any of my credits?
