GETTING BACK WITH MY CHILDHOOD HOBBY
I'd be lying if I say I never miss drawing. My childhood was filled with art and fun. I remember when I was in grade school, I tried selling my paintings on bond papers, I have this swan lake coloring book and I cut each page to color it with my poster paints then hung them outside on our gate then I put prices on them which was only 1php to 5php. Then every time somebody passes by, I hide or run inside the house. *laughs* Oh my gosh! It's really silly of me yet I'm glad it happened.
I started to draw when I was in kindergarten. I used to draw triangles, squares and circles as my human body parts. Then I learned how to trace and practice and practice from then on. I remember my first drawing was tiger, one of Pooh's best friends. I drew tiger when I was 6 during our breaks in school. It just sucks that I lost it, not just that but all my drawing books and coloring books. I tried finding them but no luck :(
One thing that I haven't gone through was how to blend colors.
I never ever have that moment of success on blending colors, but! It's never too late to learn, right? It might be easy as pie for others, kudos to them! I'll practice and practice. It's never too late to reach for that goal.
It's really amazing how stuff like this makes people appreciate the little things in life and the ability of a person to create their visions to real life. It connects people. I found wonderful friends. We share ideas and do stuff together which makes it fun and exciting. People can create memories through Art. People can inspire and can change the world for the better through Art. Art is a friend. No, wait, it's a best friend.
