HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

It's 12:51 am on May 11, 2014.

I am very very happy right now because ever since mum left us to work abroad six years ago; Mother's day was not the same anymore without her. We would only see each other through screens, but today, I will spend it with her. 

"When I just arrived at the LAX in the morning on November 29 last year, I thought of her and wondered about her appearance since I haven't seen her for six years. I wondered if her height was still the same, if she still have black hair, and other random thoughts of her. When I was on my way to the main door and when I finally got out, I looked for her and from the sea of people, I saw her with a smile plastered on her face waving at me and calling my name with my grand aunt. That moment was a full of bliss. I would never ever forget that genuine, wide and cute smile of hers. If only we had a replay button, I would probably press it as many times as I want..." 


I think that nothing could top off a mother's love.  Everybody knows that. Everybody is aware of that but not everybody remembers the things our mothers have done for us. Sometimes we forget. All the sacrifices, the ups and downs she's been through for the sake of her children and family. I have a huge respect to all the mothers out there.


My mom is the strongest woman I know, and the most caring and loving mother I ever have. 

I love her to bits, to death and to two times infinity!
