GRAND PARK

Hey! How are you? =)
Looks like this is what I can only share among the June events and what seemed productive on the last week. Fun huh? Actually I've done a DIY video for our school project and I'm planning on uploading it on youtube. What do you think? So...

I had a long morning. Eva and I planned to do homework together at Grand Park, one block away from LA's city hall  in Downtown.  I waited for the bus for downtown for almost an hour then at the middle of the route, the bus broke down so we had to get off and ride the next bus which it took another 45 minutes to arrive then finally I got there first at around 10:30ish, I headed to Starbucks and then I took my camera out from the bag and started to take random shots around me whilst waiting for Eva's arrival.

I was sitting in the left corner, with an opened laptop in front of me on the table, and a photoshop on screen just to make it seem like I came there to edit stuff so that they won't suspect me as an annoying or the weird girl shooting a camera at bunch of busy people in suits inside the cafe. Good thing it worked! Nobody really cared.
I spent one and a half hour observing people and playing with my camera - I like to observe people, their facial expressions, reactions on the situation they're in, having conversations, how they talk, how they walk or whatnot -  I also met two wild life photographers (which I find it cool) but we only had a minute to talk because they seemed to be in a hurry. I knew they were some kind of adventurous people, I can tell by what they've worn and the bulgy bags they carry. Then after a few minutes, Eva showed up! We moved outside since the air speculating in the cafe began to warm. We stayed under a shade, it was cool and breezy, we started to talk about how things have been with her life and mine. Eva is only my friend I have at school. She's 19, she is a certified pattern maker, she loves gothic stuff, cats, fashion, and she would always wear black top, pants, and creepers. It's kind of her signature look which by the way is consistently cool.

After boring ourselves with school work, we decided to relax our mind through talking, laughing, eaten snacks, observing the people around us, then Eva grabbed my camera and started clicking the shutter, she said she wanted to do street fashion photography when we saw a sartorialist passed by the fountain. I thought it was a good idea since there are so many fashionable people in LA especially in Downtown Fashion District. My grandma took me there once and just wanted to stay for the whole day. I will surely go back to that place, I just have to find a time for it. *sigh* Anyway,...

As the sun's rays continuously beaming down at us, we found ourselves shooting pictures at each other, we ran towards the fountain, skipping, jumping, getting our shoes soaked, and not caring the people around us, until we got tired including the camera haha the battery went dead just in time when we decided to get our things and went home.

PS: There are still photos untouched that I'd like to upload and will next time! I spent my day today job hunting in world wide web until my uncle called and offered me an office job at his friend's company which I'm excited about it and nervous at the same time. Wish me luck!
